Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 1 pound powdered sugar, sifted
- 6 eggs
- 1½ tsp vanilla flavoring
- 3 cups sifted cake flour
Directions
- Cream butter and powdered sugar in large mixer bowl.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
- Stir in vanilla and flour.
- Pour into greased and floured angel food cake pan.
- Bake at 325 °F for about 1¼ hours. Cool.
- While still slightly warm, sift powdered sugar over top.
